My base for lessons and coaching is Mayapo, on the coast of La Guajira. Through KiteAdventure Colombia, I work with beginners, people returning to the water and riders who want to improve their technique.
Before each session, we review your experience, goals and the conditions that day. Practice is adapted to the wind and a safe location; booking does not guarantee wind or reaching a particular level within a fixed number of hours.
If you are starting from scratch, we work on control, safety and confidence. If you already ride, we can focus on transitions, board control or a freestyle manoeuvre, depending on your level.

I am Renzo David Viloria, a Colombian athlete and kitesurfing coach. My story began in 2009 in Cabo de la Vela, alongside my cousin Martín.
I was also windsurfing back then. Our kite kept losing air and would not fly properly, but that is where it all started: the desire to learn and try again.
Competitions, travel and a project of my own followed. Today I share that experience through KiteAdventure Colombia in Mayapo.

I was also windsurfing. My cousin Martín and I started trying kitesurfing: the kite would lose air and would not fly well. Even then, my curiosity for the sport was already there.
I won first place in Big Air at a Kite Experience contest in Salinas del Rey. It was one of my early sporting achievements.
I took first place in Race at a Kite Experience contest, also in Salinas del Rey, adding another milestone to my kitesurfing journey.
I competed nationally and internationally. Those years brought training, travel and shared experiences with other riders.
I competed at the Colombian stop of the Freestyle World Cup. The official GKA report documents my heat against Nelson Gómez.
